Principal's Message
Dear Marlton Students, Families and Community Members,
It is with great pride and excitement that I introduction myself to you as the newly selected Principal of Marlton School. I am extremely honored and privileged to serve the Marlton School community as your Principal. I have passionately and humbly worked for LAUSD for more than 25 years supporting staff, students and families in several capacities as a Special Education Teacher, Coordinator, Least Restrictive Environment Specialist, and Assistant Principal. In addition, I am familiar with the Deaf Community and am able to communicate using American Sign Language. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience as a school and community leader.
It is my belief that we all have equal stake in the education of our students. I will work honestly, collaboratively and with transparency to bridge the differences that influence learning. We are charged to prepare our students to be “Ready for the World”. Such a monumental task cannot be done alone. Your involvement is a crucial component to the success of Marlton.
My vision for this school year is to build the capacity of all stakeholders through a shared vision of learning. Our demands are great and together we can conquer them all. I also believe that learning can only take place in an environment where our children are physically and emotionally safe. When students feel good about themselves and their school, they are poised to engage in their studies courageously, even when they make mistakes. Through our positive daily interactions with students, I am confident that our Scholars will continue to thrive at Marlton School. I look forward to our collaboration and to humbly serve our school community as we continue to enrich the lives of students and SOAR as the Marlton Eagles.
Yours in Partnership,
Dr. Danielle Frierson
